
1. Come up with a creative or innovative project idea.
2. Decided whether you're doing an individual or group project.
3. Read the Criteria and Conditions to make sure you and your project are eligible for a grant.
4. Found an adult mentor/whakaruruhau who will support you or your group through your project.
5. If you can not find a mentor/whakaruruhau, please contact us before you hand in your application and we'll help out.

1. Complete the application form.
2. Work out your project budget with your mentor/whakaruruhau. Click here to see a budget sample.
3. Ask your mentor/whakaruruhau to complete their section, and give you feedback on your application form. (Your mentor is not to fill your application form out for you other than the mentor part).
4. Consider project evaluation - how will you know your project has been successful? E.g. survey, feedback form, interview people.
5. Contact us if you have any questions at any stage.
